Creamy Sausage and Potato soupCreamy Sausage Potato Soup

Serves 8 (about 1 cup each) – prep time about 20 minutes – cook time about 20-25 minutes


5 cups cubed peeled Red Potatoes

1 pound ground sausage

4 cups Chicken Broth/Stock

1 cup Heavy Cream

3/4 cup chopped Celery

3/4 cup sliced Carrots

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 tsp Parsley Flakes

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp freshly cracked Black Pepper

2 tbsp Flour

4 cups Shredded Cheddar cheese


  1. Brown sausage in skillet
  2. In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine potatoes, broth/stock, celery, carrots, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper. Simmer until potatoes are just tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Combine Heavy cream and flour; add sausage and cream mixture to potato mixture. Stir in cheese and heat until cheese has melted. about 10 minutes.
  4. Ready to serve and enjoy!


Chicken Noodle Soup

1 Whole Chicken cut up

8 cups water

3 Large Carrots chopped

4 Celery stalks chopped

1 Large White Onion diced

1 Tablespoon Mrs. Dash Original Seasoning

1 Bag of Egg Noodles (homemade is best but bagged like you buy in the Frozen section will work great)

Salt & Pepper (add to taste)

Boil the Chicken in the 8 cups of water (enough water to cover chicken) and seasonings, while chicken is cooking chop carrots, celery and dice onion! When Chicken is cooked thoroughly, take out of broth and let cool enough to debone chicken, place deboned chicken back in broth along with vegetables! Let boil for about 10 minutes, add Egg Noodles, cook according to the package directions (usually around 20-30 minutes)! serve
